Battleheart - REVIEW

And had been wanting to do the review of this game for iPhone. You see, there are few games for iPhone that move me in advance. Games like Chaos Rings, or the new creation of SE, Imaginary Range able to try to learn as much as possible of them before their inevitable release into the Apple Appstore.

Well, Battleheart is a game that got me since I saw a teaser for the first time there in November last year. His style of art and fast gameplay (which you could see in the trailer) I loved, and so when I came out a couple of months ago I had to buy inevitably.

is it? Very
deception I've always seen my iPhone as the dumping of large companies, which sell games really are awful or not the level of a hardcore gamer like me. And I can not blame the developers, because I am part of the problem, waste discharge normally 10 pesos without knowing how this game just because some small part of the game I like. And for a heavy fan of RPGs this situation is puzzling, since we are accustomed to a certain level of detail both in gameplay, graphics, sound and other qualities that make a game a good game.

Well imagine my surprise to know the first "RPG" for iPhone that actually feels designed for the device. Sure, there have been more attempts before, but even that loves Chaos Rings (and its sequel, Chaos Rings Omega) presents a simplistic gameplay may have been adapted to any portable console, not a high tech device like the iPhone or iPad . Sure, its production values \u200b\u200bare high, but did not offer anything fresh.

Battleheart is different in that it feels like the first game completely original RPG created for the iPhone, where the use of its touch screen creates a dynamic gaming experience, fun and invites you to experimentation. It's an RPG, yes, but it feels like a hybrid RPG-action-strategy like no other.

Graphics Graphically not presume a lot, but its sleek character design (big heads, nice and sympathetic) is great, and you admire with at least one character throughout your adventure. The visual effects presented by the game are very good too, as if they were made frame by frame by hand, every movement of both the characters and spells and techniques look great, but we could not expect less from the creators of "OMG Pirates! " . I mention that the weapons are single and all have great designs?

The variety of enemies is not very high, and perhaps the only bad point that I can find is that graphically normal enemies only change color to represent a "new" type of enemy. That if the bosses are always unique, and there are several, each with their own animations and techniques.

Ah yes, a more negative detail: if you play it on iPhone you may miss from such action. Sometimes there are so many enemies on screen you can feel overwhelmed by so many explosions, special effects and action, even the screen may seem irresponsible at times, and in a game where the accuracy of your dedazo is the most important, it can cause you some unnecessary deaths , causing you to repeat the level again. That if the game runs fast always, do not hesitate. Sound

Ahi if passed. The game has a few songs, I do not remember exactly how many listen (I finished the game For quite some time), but they are definitely less than 10 songs. The songs, however there are passable, especially the battle against the bosses and the pre-battle menu.

Beyond that, the sound area is not much to complain about (because it really is not much of that), but if the sound is important to you I say you do not bother in the slightest ... but do not expect to include some of those songs to your library of songs in your iphone ... I hope in the future to add an update to your own music to use in battle, that if it would be pretty nice. Gameplay

This is good. The game consists of 2 parts only. The menu prior to battle and battle itself. In the pre-battle menu you can hire a money exchange units, equip your units with new items to the merchant (items that change after every battle), items ranging from weapons, armor, accessories, etc. At some level you can teach your units extra skills for battle. The nice thing about this is that there are skills you can choose to learn to change others. For example, your poet can learn a song or HP regenerates its allies gradually, or a song that improves their ability to attack. Not both at once, just once, and there lies in how well you can make your computer arm, offsetting the disadvantages that will leave you a choice or another.

already in battle can take up to four members of your team to the field of battle. You will be attacked by endless hordes of monsters, monsters small but fast, slow but strong monsters and a lot of HP, or magicians, or healers. Lots of variety.

With the simple stroke of lines in your unit to another unit you will give the order to attack (fighter), make a damaging spell (with your mages) or cure (your allies). Continue running until you decide that action is enough and do another, or when the enemy is being attacked die. Following that, if there is an enemy near your monkey (in which case, he shall attack that automatically) you have to give the order to attack another with the stroke of your fingers.

skills come into play with a tap to select a character. At the top left of your iphone (which include, hold horizontally) you have selected your character's skills with small drawings, same as with a simple touch will activate. Skills that affect all enemies and allies have no more complication (such as blizzard wizard, which hurts all enemies and also encouraged a few seconds), but skills that affect a person need only be selected and then select the character benefited / affected.

Each skill has a time for "cool" depending on the skill are the seconds it took to do so. While you can continue attacking or healing, or perform other skills available. Also there are passive skills that benefit your character in ways more subtle, less time to cool their skills, or additional effects of certain spells. They also passive skills are learned through leveling.

Regarding this last, the end of the battle, your characters will receive survivors experience, same used to level up at that time, improving their statistics as a traditional RPG. You will receive prize money and spoils or to finish the fight, either a weapon or an accessory. As your adventures progress awards, experience and the money will improve (slightly).

Once at the menu again, you can (with the money earned in battle) to improve your weapons and armor (each weapon type has various levels), buy new things, such as rare or new troops accessories. After that, choose the next mission on your map where you should repeat the above. You may think that gets boring after some times, but the same is not a game for everyone. I I enjoy the classic grinding and farming, to repeat a mission with a new team of characters is rewarding. Conclusion

Battleheart of Mikamobile is a hybrid that you will enjoy if you like strategy RPGs and fast. For many, the challenges may seem repetitive, but for fans of the old mold RPG level up and get the best Equipment for your characters this is an answer to their longing for past years. For 30 pesos, the amount you get has no mother. Llegal without fear!
